The Pakistan Stroke Society (PSS) has been insistent scientific research and discoveries in the field of stroke and also persistently working to boost community and physicians awareness about the importance of early identification and intervention.
With an endlessly increasing burden of stroke cases, the high mortality and disastrous disability our country is witnessing, it is high time that all the contributors come together to struggle this disease.

To reduce the national burden of stroke through advocacy, prevention, treatment and capacity building for the long term stroke care.
Aims & Objectives:
The main aims & objectives of Pakistan Stroke Society (PSS) are:
- Nurturing the best standards of practice of stroke care in Pakistan.
- Increasing stroke awareness among the population and among health professionals
- Influencing policies for stroke prevention and improved health services
- Providing education in collaboration with public and private organizations. Facilitating stroke research advocacy for people with stroke
- Fostering the development of systems and organizations for long term support of stroke survivors and their families; to meet these objects Pakistan Stroke Society (PSS) will develop and provide scientific meetings, education courses, a journal, and other methods contributing to the increased knowledge of stroke and its subspecialties.
