Dear friends and colleagues,
I welcome you all to the 2020 APSC hosted by Korea, which will be held on December 4-6, 2020.
In October 2010, the Asia Pacific Stroke Organization (APSO) was launched in Seoul, Korea, when the World Stroke Congress (WSC) was held. And we had a session with the name of APSO during WSC. Since the first independent conference in 2011 in Colombo, Sri Lanka, APSC has been held every year in Asia-Pacific countries.
The 2020 APSC is the 10th Anniversary, which is significant that the conference will be held again in Korea, where APSO was born.
Due to COVID-19 pandemics, APSC is facing a challenging new normal as in the case of other international meetings. Therefore we decided to have the 2020 APSC as a full virtual conference.
It is regrettable that we cannot meet face to face and discuss academic issues and build friendships. However, a virtual meeting may be a better opportunity to acquire the latest achievements and share research results with each other in the field of stroke without traveling abroad.
Your active participation will make the first virtual APSC a successful one and enhance stroke care, research, and regional cooperation among the Asia-Pacific countries. Please join and enjoy a new exciting virtual experience. Wishing you good health and peace. Best regards,
